Image Actions

 

      Blur

      This action creates a diffuse, softened effect on an image. Apply it several times to get more intense result.

      Crop


        Opens new dialog where you can select which part of an image you want to keep and discard the rest.

      Despeckle


        This action removes fine noise particles from an image. You can use it to fix the grain that might show up in high-resolution scans. Apply the action several times to get more intense result.

      Equalize Histogram


        This action will redistribute the brightness values of the pixels in an image so that they more evenly represent the entire range of brightness levels. In other words it may improve the contrast range of an image which is especially useful for scanned images that turn out too dark.

      Flip Horizontal (mirror)

        Flips (mirrors) image horizontally.

      Flip Vertical (mirror)


        Flips (mirrors) image vertically.

      Resize


        Opens new dialog where you can resize an image. Type in new image size, choose resized image aspect and click Ok.

        Image aspect. You can get resized image to be exactly the size you typed for width and height if you select "Exact size (allow stretching)". The other two options will preserve original image aspect.

        Settings. You can choose between setting new image size in pixels or percentages. The other option is to choose resampling filter. High quality is always recommended but if you need more speed with large images you may choose one of the lower quality options.

      Rotate

        Currently available options for rotating an image are: 90 degrees clockwise, 90 degrees counter clockwise and 180 degress.

      Sepia


        This action gives an image a yellowish black-and-white appearance. It is best used for creating an antique or romantic look.

      Sharpen

        This action will sharpen an image. Apply it several times to get more intense result.
